What The Seahawks Said Following Their Loss To The Raiders Trendii4u

Q. How did you see Ken kind of battle through the game?

PETE CARROLL He battled. He battled. He'd some atrocious plays. He got hit a lot before he got going. We could not get him started constantly moment.

Q. The touchdown that Homer had, talk about his growth.

PETE CARROLL Yeah, it was a really nice play. It was a good prosecution to get the first down first of all. But to finish it like that, that was a atrocious run for him. He is a heck of a football player. Tough as nails. He comes through whenever he gets his chances.

Were you surprised they capsized the catch?

PETE CARROLL The one to DK?

Yes.

PETE CARROLL Yeah, I was. Both of the guys on the side, the refs on the side, they saw it as a clean catch. I did not see the renewal. I understand they were talking about the ball got moved after he slid out of bounds. You got to survive the ground. That is what they are trying to determine there. They were clear it was a catch on the side, so they were surprised it got turned

him a better pass. Like I said, being a thumb pointer, those are the effects that I can correct. nothing's perfect. You can watch across the league, every quarterback is going to make some miscalculations. I just got to be better in some aspects and put it all on me. Put it on me. I will be better.

Q. After they missed the field thing and the possession after that, overtime, three- and- out, what was the issue there?

GENO SMITH We did not execute to the stylish of our capability. Like I said ahead, that is one of those situations where late in the game we've an occasion to go out there and get a palm. Obviously we did not get it done, so we have got to look at ourselves and figure out what we've to do better. I look forward to that.

Q. What happed on the interception?

GENO SMITH It's an interception. Bad pass. Can not be.

Q. How about the bobble?

GENO SMITH That is on me. My fault. 100.

Q. You were trying to pull that back, right?

GENO SMITH Yep.

Realizing you have the occasion to seize the moment, a youthful platoon, what do you have to do as a leader in a collaborative way?

GENO SMITH Yeah, we just got to continue to learn from these effects. It's all a literacy experience. That is what it is. Like I said, we all can learn from it, not just the youthful guys. All the guys on the platoon, trainers included, look where we can be better and figure out ways to win.

Q. You talked about going from the huntsman to the hunted. Are you noticing any difference in the brigades facing you now?

GENO SMITH Yeah, everybody watches sports, ESPN. Everyone watches what we do out there. Make a lot of great plays. We got great players each over the field. Coming into the season, there were different prospects. Seeing what we've on this platoon, I believe we can do a lot of great effects. I suppose everyone differently can see that as well. We've to enjoy that, accept that for who we are, because we're great players and we're a great platoon. We lost two games in a row. It's not the end of the world. We lost one game moment. But we got six further ahead of us. Like I said, we got to learn from that because we are going to be in these situations again. I am really looking forward to that, being in that situation, seeing how we can overcome those thing and get back on the winning track.

Q. The touchdown to Tyler, you are letting that ball go while he is hipsterism to hipsterism. How important faith do you have when you throw the ball to him?

GENO SMITH I got a ton of faith in Tyler. Those are effects that we exercise day in and day out since training camp. We just got to continue to make plays like that. Like I said, we got great players each over the field. Tyler is one of our leaders, an established player in this league. He is the joe that is going to win those more frequently than not.

( Question about running the ball.)

GENO SMITH I would have to go back to the film and just see exactly what it was. But I can say in hindsight it's just prosecution, whatever it is. It's prosecution. It takes all 11, including me. Like I said, I am not going to look at anyone differently, really just looking at myself and what I can do better to help that out.

Wide Receiver Tyler Lockett

On the takeaways from this game)" I suppose we had a chance to be suitable to win and we just did not pull through. Any time you are in overtime and the kick misses a field thing and we get good field position, as an offense, we've to be suitable to get our field thing kick in the stylish situation to make the field thing. We had a great chance to be suitable to do it, and the Aggressors did a great job on defense, but for us on offense we've got to be suitable to just take over in that situation."

On the miscommunication during the interception in in the first quarter)" There was a lot of miscommunication but I'd rather let Pete( Carroll) talk about it."

On what's demanded to get back on track)" I suppose the biggest thing is you just have to make a decision. Unfortunately, we let this game slip down, but at the end of the day, effects are still in our control and it sucks to see what just took place but everything that we want is still right there in front of us. It's not going to be commodity that is easy. occasionally in life we all want stuff to be easy to where you do not have to work to the point where it's like you either get it or you don't. For us we just have to be suitable to go back to the delineation board. I suppose this was a game to be suitable to show us that if you want it, you have to take it. No bone is going to hand it to you."

On his touchdown catch)" Geno( Smith) did a great job trusting me. We knew how the DBs play, we knew that they were going to occasionally be in a good position but the biggest thing was being suitable to finish at the end. Understanding that with Geno, we know how he throws the ball, we know the places that he is going to put it and so the biggest thing that Sanjay( Lal) always addresses to us about for the utmost part is being suitable to keep running and not decelerating down in any of our routes. Geno does a great job of being suitable to throw it where it's supposed to be at."

Free Safety Quandre Diggs

On whether he has ever started a game with such an early interception)" I have been there, done that. I have scored a touchdown, too, first play of the game. So, I have done that ahead. I need to do commodity new, I need to score again."

On frustration after this game)" We've to fix it. Everybody's going to expose it if we do not fix it. We fixed it for a little bit. It showed its head moment. At the end of the day, if we do not stop the run, we are not going to be suitable to do anything. It starts with everybody."

On whether the protective challenges are analogous to what they were in September)" I mean I allowed we fixed it. I just have to look at it. It's not a lack of trouble. I suppose we just have to figure it out again, and figure out that niche that we had for a while there, and get it fixed presto. Because brigades are going to see that, and when they see that, you could have run the ball. We've to get those stops. I am not down on anybody, I am just saying we've to get those stops. We had some good stops moment, and we just have to be more harmonious with it."

On what makes him confident that the defense can get it fixed)" We have done it ahead. It's not a lack of trouble. I know that everybody has their head into it, and everybody wants to get it done. I just suppose, at the end of the day, we got to bring it. We've to bring it in practice, and we can not have any breaks. When you have a pause like that, you get perfunctory a little bit perhaps, and you suppose you got it fixed, and brigades find new ways to expose it. We just have to see what brigades are doing to us now."

Linebacker Jordyn Brooks

On how tough it's to swallow a loss like that)" It's enough tough. We were supposed to win that game, and it sucks to lose on the last play like that."

( On what it'll take to get the defense right again)" Just watch the film. Fix the miscalculations during the week, and everybody just stick together and keep rising up."

On what the defense needs to fix to stop the run)" We just have to play further physical. Guys have got to get off blocks, make tackles. Can not miss tackles. That is what it is, principally."

( On how having a alternate running back in the backfield impacts the protective scheme)" It's just declaring where they want to run the ball. Anytime they're in' 21', with the fullback in there, utmost of the time they're following the fullback, to wherever the ball is going."

On what the group needs to do to brio back)" Just keep going. We've six games left. Just keep going."

Wide Receiver Marquise Goodwin

On Pete Carroll's communication in the locker room)" Really just control what you can control for right now, and come back ready to work this coming week."

On the challenge of getting into manageable third campo)" I do not know. I've to go look at some of the film, so I can give a better answer. Really, it boils down to just executing, actually."

Linebacker Cody Barton

On what he saw moment in the struggles of defending the run)" Actually, I am not going comment too much on it. I want to see the film first. I want to take a step back and digest everything. That is a game that we should've won. I wish we could have it back."

( On his confidence in the defense to make another adaptation for the rest of the season)" I am veritably confident we're going to make an adaptation. Like I said, I am not going to say important about it. We will see the film hereafter, and from there, we'll get better. I know that."
